I had to extend so that there was at least three years left on my contract when I got hired for AGR. I resigned a year into my initial AGR term for personal reasons and I'm wondering if its possible to waive the extension and go back to my original ETS date? I know i probably know the answer to this but i'm curious if there are any loopholes.

I know on active duty extensions can only be canceled when the assignment is canceled or deleted and not at fault of the Soldier. Resignation would be considered at your discretion and would not release you from the SRR you incurred being accepted to the AGR.
