Yes. You were awarded the CIB. You have documentation to back it up. Wear it up

And if you earn an EFMB or a CFMB you can wear it also (with your CIB).
See DA Pam 670-1.

Has this recently changed back? A few years ago they changed the regulation to state that a SM could only wear one badge from group 1 OR group 2, meaning soldiers had to choose between their CAB, CIB/EIB, or CMB/EFMB.

CPT (Join to see), you are correct. "Personnel may only wear one combat or special skill badges from either group 1 or
group 2 above the ribbons, above the top of the pocket, or in a similar location for uniforms without pockets. " (DA PAM 670-1, 2017, para. (3), p. 285)

Yes you can wear your CIB, your CIB doesn't go away just because you change MOS. Just make sure you have your orders, because the stolen valor police will surely swoop at a medic with one.

Always love the SVP. "Do you have orders to wear that? " Yep. "Show us?" No problem, but it will have to wait till duty tomorrow as I don't carry them around with me and unit personnel is closed. "but" You want to show me that reg where I HAVE to carry orders for every badge and award, me?
