Can they discharge me before I do all the mandatory classes? They really want me out, they took me out of a MEB " they down graded my profile" because they didn't want me around anymore as well but I'd like to do the TAP program classes before I leave. My out date is on Thursday?

It is an assistance program, and while "mandated' there are always exceptions.
In 2014, here were the "required" actions prior to final out.
I also know SM that were processed out without these actions..some by thier own desire, and some by exception.
And end of the day, what we think has no effect on what happens to you... if you are not willing to waive your TAP benefits, talk with your unit leadership, if they will not talk, or not consent to changinging your final out date to accommodate TAP briefings..then go see legal assistance......But understand.... what ever it is you are doing (did?) that has led to this situation.....if you force your units hand to retain you for a few more weeks or months for TAB briefings....and you continue the actions or events that led up to your early separation...you may find you get more then just a TAP briefing, and that your next visit to legal may be a required one

Did your command downgrade your profile or did your doctor downgrade your profile? I feel as though there is soooooo much more info that is missing in this.

I have had medical issues with headaches and migraines after a TBI while overseas "non combat related" coming up on a year now. Shortly after I started to get depressed and get seen for it. I came back home early from my rotation overseas. I got put on a certain medication which made me gain weight very fast and made me oversleep. I missed morning formation after taking this medication 3 times within 3-4 months. Morning formation is 3 miles...

On 10 June 2016, I IMed the Soldier the following: "You have some good guidance from the SGT who posted a reply. I am glad you are seeking help from the Ombudsman.
I wrote a lengthy response earlier but lost it on my iPad.
Bottom line: do those things you are told to do. Make all appointments. Get to the Transition program. Keep your chain of command informed. You are a part of a team.
You served your Nation, something only 2% of the country has done. Take care of your health and get the medical support the Army/VA promised you. Move on to the next mission, whatever you chose and work hard. You'll be a success because you did something 98% of the USA didn't!
All the best,
Chisholm"
So four months ago, I told him to go to Transition--he has now reached "troll" status in my book.
