Can my command put me on CQ the day before I go on a 4-day pass?

So quick question? is there any regs on having cq the day before you go on a 4 day pass? So I start my pass on Friday and have to be at the place at 5 but they put me on cq on Thursday and we all have a 4 day but I put in a da31 to go somewhere, I was supposed to get switched out but Got told I can’t now, and I’m just the runner for cq?

Your pass doesn't start until Friday. Thursday is a work day. So, yes. They CAN put you on CQ duty.

SPC (Join to see) - My response still applies. And there is no way to get a replacement? No one to cover for you? No way to get approval for someone to cover you? When did you submit the pass request? When was it originally approved?
Also, bear in mind that Pass Requests are like Leave requests. They are at the discretion of the Commander and can be yanked at any time.

Did you rely on someone else to find a replacement for YOUR duty? Did you approach one of your Battle Buddies to stand your watch in exchange for their next time on CQ? The only person that cares you "need" to be somewhere on Friday is YOU. Your pass starts when your duty day ends.
