My unit trying to defer my pcs orders saying that the command doesn't have enough, but they have more than enough. I been on fort hood for the pass five and half years it's time for me to go and have a change. I saw the light at the end of the tunnel

Yes, your CSM can effect a deferment, without out your "permission". If the orders come down again from DA, they will likley be "No deferment/ no deletion" and you will PCS as ordered. Sometimes that takes a third time.
The BDE/DIV will need to justify your authorized position and you filling that line number. Your perception that the unit "has enough" means little and is likley not ground truth..though it may look that way from your fox hole.
If the new position you're headed to is a mandated fill (DS, AIT PSG, Recruiter. ROTC) you likley will get a second set of orders noted "No deferment/ no deletion"... and your unit will have no choice. If not that kind of a slated position, you're likley staying till the next ORders cycle

Good perspective on the process, SGM Erik Marquez. Giving the ground situation is needed so that there is more understanding. It is akin to the process of buying a used car; we don't like to deal with used car salespersons, but we still do it. You have taken away the mystique.

But when the need is otherwise filed, the deferment will sometimes turn into a defacto deletion.
Deferred is usually when the justification is short or near term... Child finish school, wife finish baby, service member finish treatment

Another lesson... always understand your unit's manning document. It gives the number of personnel authorized by rank and mos. As SGM Marquez stated, "has enough" is perception only with little bearing or weight. However, if you can demonstrate by review of the manning document that each billet is filled by an authorized service member, then you may be able to present an argument worth listening to. Otherwise, "needs of the army" does not require your consent or agreement.

The mistake often made here is SM's only look the company, or at best BN manning rosters..DA could care less if the MSC or BDE is manned at the XX% level they strive for, but the MSC, BDE, BN is mis managing them and leaving company X without and company Y with 3 excess. So what SM's of all ranks fail to realize is, DA is looking post wide and sometimes post plus outside post to a unit still under the same unit colors.
So "all positions filled" is not a accurate statement until every authorized position MSC wide is filled..something only likely in a few MOS/Grade options. It is a rare thing indeed that MSC wide every authorized 68xx, 45yy, 11anything is filled with Sm having retainability.

Took the words out of my mouth (or fingers) - I was in the Division five years and on Bragg for eight (80 - 87) I came down on levy no fewer than three times - each time the orders were flagged or deleted because the "needs" of my current unit outweighed the needs of the gaining unit.
