If You Are Asking Could We Fight A War Using Civil War Era , Indian Wars , WW1 Weapons No Way!
Anything Newer , Possible ?
WW2 , Korea And Vietnam Weapons Used Ammunition That Would Still Be Available.
Also Are You Asking About A Conventional War ?
Or Defense Of The Nation By A Foreign Invasion People Have Have Fought Off Invasions By Large Well Equipped Forces Using Weapons That Were Not Equal To The Invading Forces, For Thousands Of Years.
Would I Go Up Against An Invading Army Armed With Civil War Era Weapons ? YES!

Small Arms From WW2 Through Vietnam Are Still In Use By Many Military Forces Around The World Including Us,
The M-2 .50 Caliber MG , 1911,M-14 And Don’t Forget The M-16 / M-4 Is An Early 60s Invention.
Our Enemies Are Still Using A lot Of Weapons From The Late 40s Through The 70s
As Far As Aircraft, WW-2 . No ! Propeller Driven Aircraft Are Too Slow And Don’t Cary Precision Guided Weapons.
Jet Aircraft From The 1950s And Newer Could Probably Put Up A Good Fight.
No Matter What Kind Of WeaponThey Have , Any Country That Is Being Attacked Would Fight Back Against An Invasion Until They Have Won, Lost Or Been Destroyed.
