Can Soldiers fly in ACU on TDY?

It's been a long time since I've needed to travel in uniform, are we currently allowed to travel in Combat uniform? Changing is a pain for a meeting the same day as travel.

Yes, if on official travel and not restricted by your command's policy.

Force protection while traveling in uniform has obviously become a main consideration in these last years. Most people don't travel in uniform, but domestically it's not that big of an issue.

I would never travel in uniform while going through a civilian airport overseas (and most commands have a policy against it).
