I got a military star clothing allowance credit card and I cannot use it on the my exchange website because I am labeled as a reservist. Any idea how to go about this?

Have you called AAFES directly to pose this question to them? But this website might help with information for you:

I called the support number on the Shopmyexchange website and they told me because I am ARNG, that I cannot purchase online.

PFC(P) Corey Hannen - It sucks, but that's the (unfortunate) policy they made.

MSG (Join to see) - I figured it out, I had to get a regular military star card along with the clothing to use the clothing.

PFC(P) Corey Hannen unclear what your issue is. It's best posed to AAFES. It mentions Reservists are eligible. I don't know I feel they differentiate between National Guard and Reserve. Togteher they are considered the Reserve Component as part of the total Army.

National Guard members are unlimited patrons of AAFES. Not sure what the issue is.

You're authorized according to this. Who is your unit POC for this? Another option is to call the San Antonio MCSS. They are the mothership for all things MCSS and will most likely be the one filling the order. http://publicaffairs-sme.com/ExchangePost/2018/07/17/shopmyexchange-com-now-offering-uniforms-to-army-national-guardsmen-reservists/
