Can someone provide me the POC for the approving authority for the Continuation Pay under the BRS?

SFC Boyd, the packet was never sent to the Finance Office or the DFAS, because the BDE kept denying as they only see that I have crossed my 12th year TIS mark. What me and my leadership are trying to do is convince the higher (maybe Army G1) that it is no fault of the SM. I just want to make sure who is the approving authority beyond the BDE. Would that be G1?

SFC (Join to see) if you read the ALARACT it will answer all your questions. The approving authority is DFAS. DFAS goes according to what the law says.

MAJ Ken Landgren - Sir, I completed my 12 years mark in April 22, 2020. I submitted all the necessary documents before that day. Due to some admin delay, I have been declined my entitled CP. I am looking for a POC, beyond the BDE O6, who can understand the problem at its root and help give me an exception. I believe, the SM should not be penalized if he/she has done what they were supposed to do.

SFC (Join to see) - There are two avenues of approach. I would make an appointment with Finance to tell them what is going on. Ask them to do a reach back with DFAS with employees who process CPs. I am sure this is not the first inquiry like yours.
