I reenlisted last year. I already PCSed last December and awaiting Separation under Chapter 18. My separation packet cannot be completed without my newest DD Form. Is there a regulation that covers Separation or Fulfillment of Service if there's no proof of reenlistment? Not even Retention Branch have a copy of the DD Form 4

Systems work for the Army, the Army doesn't work for its systems. Just because nobody can find a copy of a form that says you joined the Army, doesn't mean you're not in the Army, you're getting paid by DFAS every month, you are in the Army.

Some person at your JAG or Transitions decided they want a copy of all your service documents to prove you are allowed to be in the Army, and process your separation. That's it. You are not the first person missing a document and no regulation says you need one to get kicked out the Army.

You can't find a copy of your Re-Enlistment Contract? Have you tried looking in your iPerms? How do you not have a hard copy? Hell, I still have a hard copy of my original Enlistment back in 1993.

It happens a lot. The Career Counselor fails to upload it to iperms and all the hard copies get shredded after two years because that's how long they are required to be kept.
