I'm not sure if you've noticed but a lot has changed since you've left the service. It seems that politics has seeped down to affect even the enlisted leadership in the Chain of Command. E-7's and above are worried about one of/or two things: getting ahead or not losing their jobs. Never mind what is right, never mind the junior enlisted who are left floating in the wind without guidance. I felt that pretty strongly at my last command. I was only an E-4 when we worked together and I can't say I felt it then, or maybe you just did your job well and kept it from reaching our level. From my perspective it seems that Senior Enlisted Leadership has a lot of shaping up to do and they need to figure it out quick. I have a lot more to say on the subject, enough that I've started a blog to help vent! thisnavylifeblog.wordpress.com

I've noticed. It stresses me out, surely not as much as your stress. I look forward to reading your blog. I'm still involved with the U.S. Navy but as an outsider looking in kind of. As in not leading Sailors, just leading acquisitions trying to get you guys the best equipment to fight with. Thanks for the compliment.

PO1 (Join to see) trying to get in a quick read of your blog. I'm at work but my ADHD allows me to multitask. BTW, my buttons are not nor will they ever hit that stress limit. LMFAO this is going to be some good reading!
