You will not receive official credit unless you receive a rating on and NCOER. Thank you for your service

no paragraph and line number = no credit. I spent nearly a year as "acting" company CO as a 1LT, but since I was not officially in that slot on the UMR I didn't get credit for command time. Gotta love the ARNG....

Not sure how you would document that without an NCOER. It may be a contributing factor to obtaining waivers to earn Specialist or possibly appointment to Corporal. As a Corporal it is,optional to receive an NCOER. I applaud you for leaning forward and taking responsibility for a big challenge.

Probably not. Chief time accrual requires you to be at least a Corporal. SPC won't count so, if you're Chief, buck for a lateral promotion to Corporal and then you will rate an NCOER.
In any case, if you get that slot again, work your butt off and get your CO recognize your efforts with a local certificate of appreciation. It will count towards your promotion points for Sergeant and Staff Sergeant (5 points is better than a poke in the eye). Other than that, you will get some great experience and become a better soldier.
