I’ve recently had a friend join the National Guard after talking to him about it and wanted to know if there was a way to deploy in the same unit at the same time.

Yes, as long as you are both deploying in the same unit. I recruited two friends into the National Guard. They both came into my BDE but they were in different battalions. We all deployed together.

I think the mechanics behind it are simply first finding out what unit is deploying, then asking who other soldiers could contact to get on the mob. The ONLY reason I could see this not happening is the losing unit would be deploying soon as well and simply not let the other soldier go.

Makes sense. Basically just find a unit with two open slots that’s deploying relatively soon

SPC (Join to see) - but you both need to apply at the same time or risk one getting orders, and the other getting left behind. All depends on open slots, but it's probably easiest as E1-4 and O1-3

The Guard seems like the easiest and most likely way for this to happen, actually.
