Can you name atleast one Marine Corps General that had Command of a US Army Unit?

Wouldn't that include any Marine General that commanded Centcom? That's a pretty impressive list, from Hoar, Zinni, Allen and Mattis, plus a few I don't remember.

General Oliver P. Smith commanded the First MarDiv at Chosin reservoir in 1950. Gen. Smith is not well known, but he is almost certainly the best field general in the history of the Corps.
1/32 and the 31st IR fell under General Smith's command at Chosin Resevoir.
If not for General Smith's skillful leadership, Chesty Puller's First Marines would probably have been overrun and no one would ever have heard of him.
