For starters! NO GOOD CONDUCT RIBBON, Pistolman and Rifleman should be the lowest priority, bottom row last ribbons. I have to look up some of those ribbons, they came out after I retired in 89 from the NAVY. With a ribbon stack he should have at least 1 star on a good conduct.

It's fun to laugh at the variations and try to imagine what service must have been like for the imposter. Keep in mind that most examples are from mentally I'll and cognitively delayed individuals. Often it is a perverse act of hero worship. Unless they are seeking official benefits (not 10% off nipple rings at Hot Topic or shitty coffee from BK) from the mischaracterization, than it is protected speech under the same Constitution we all swore to defend. Without intent to defraud, it is not Stolen Valor.
