Occasionally I will post pictures and ask what's wrong with them. Here is another I recently found online. Can you see what's wrong with this pictures?

And go....

Order of precedence is all screwed up, he's wearing two NatDef ribbons, the star device on the Afghan Campaign? ribbon is upside down, and I can't tell by only seeing the blouse, but unless he's impersonating an officer, then he's got the wrong BUDs pin.

That Trident is a mini. Not to be worn unless in Dinner Dress Blues. 4 Ribbon. Higher than 1/4 inch above pocket seam. (2) NDM. Can't be a frogman without his shooting devices. Shooting ribbons are too high on the precedence.

Well, according to uniform ribbons.com and the NAVY ribbon selector, if, he rates 12 of the 16 he's wearing, and they should be in the following order, they're obviously not...

silver star ribbon
joint service achievement ribbon
navy marine corps combat action ribbon
navy marine corps meritorious unit commendation ribbon
national defense service medal ribbon
afghanistan campaign ribbon
iraq campaign ribbon with 1 bronze star
global war on terrorism expeditionary ribbon
global war terrorism service ribbon
navy marine corps overseas service ribbon
navy rifleman ribbon
navy pistol ribbon
And it should then look like this:
http://www.uniformribbons.com/tmp/ [login to see] .35257.uniformribbons.com.png

Starting at the top, counting 4 across starting the next line at 5 etc.:
Ribbon 1 appears to be an obsolete Navy & Marine Corps Reserve ribbon
Ribbon 11 is a duplicate NDSM, shouldn't be worn or should have a star
Ribbon 12 also appears to be commemorative ribbon

At this point I've lost one ribbon and lost interest... but isn't that a Miniature Seal Trident (Mess Dress)?

Silver Star should be highest award, 2 different MSM ribbon, and I didn't think Overseas Service was a Navy award? That is without going to references. Oh and what the heck is the Green, yellow, blue & red center? I do not recognize the award.

Ribbons not in order of seniority. Should have only one National Defense ribbon. If a 2nd National Defense Medal is rated there should be a small star attached to a sth single ribbon. I would think there would be a Good Conduct Award with these ribbons. Don't know if this is a Marine or Naval uniform. If Marine there wouldn't be a Trident unless he has prior service as a Navy Seal. Ribbons do not appear to be centered over the pocket. I have been retired from the Marine Corps for 20+ years and do not recognize a couple of these ribbons, i.e. the yellow one top left of the Silver star ribbon.
