Occasionally I will post pictures and ask what's wrong with them. Here is another I recently found online. Can you see what's wrong with this pictures?

And go....

I won't repeat a lot of what other people said, but one thing I think that was not pointed out that I think may have been over looked is there are two separate National Defense Ribbons, you should only wear one, and a bronze star for additional..

I'm thinking that the commercial ribbon / medal companies are missing a bet on a "Basic Poser" package ... Jump Wings, CIB, ranger tab, seal trident, SF DUI, Purp Heart, SS, BS, DSC ... err .. am I missing anything?

Any service can get awards from other services, provided they meet the proper criteria. And if you're talking about the ribbon on the top right, it's the Joint Services Achievement Medal, so technically it would be okay assuming he knew what he was doing.

Anybody in the Nacy knows that the McDonald ribbon goes on the lowest level closest to the pocket and innermost or closest to the heart

I retired from the Navy but have never heard of the McDonald ribbon. What is it?

Should be a guy right cause us girls in the AF have no pockets. I was thinking they don't either, but then again I'm no marine. Don't we wear our rack flush with our pocket on our dress blues? Oh boy... it's been a while for me.

Ribbons, most of them, are not in order of precedence, duplicate ribbons vice star(s), mini Trident, assuming Navy poser...4 across ribbons are a no-no, no idea what the most senior decoration may be, more can be found but what is the point. Stolen Valor.

Seeing the Old Man in my dress uniform would be worth kicking this D pickle in his nonexistent danglers. If he had real ones he would have joined up like the rest of us. HOOYAH

Initially the most obvious is both rifle and pistol ribbons are always on the bottom left ... the rest I don't know well enough.

The ribbons are completely out of order of precedence. Navy does 3 ribbons wide, not 4. He has Army ribbons which, unless he transferred from green to blue, should not be there. He repeats the National Defense ribbon twice. The rack is crooked, off-center and probably not exactly a fourth inch above his pocket. The warfare pin is a miniature pin instead of the full-size pin (could this really be a Seal?). This has stolen valor, lack of attention to detail and scumbag written all over it!
