Occasionally I will post pictures and ask what's wrong with them. Here is another I recently found online. Can you see what's wrong with this pictures?

And go....

trident is way to small, awards out of order .ie pistol and rifle marksman , and many more and second glance silver star is not an less award to that yellow one

It's a common stolen valor pic....I actually thought this was going to be an interesting post.

Where do you start with this Stolen Valor recipient? Ribbons were on sale at the NEX?

The rack is too high up from the top of the pocket. Should be 1/8" up. Does the solid yellow ribbon hold precedence over the Silver Star?

Well I didn't belong to the Marine Corp but as a former drill instructor I do see a few things that are not correct. 1. Has 2 good conduct metals, which is wrong it should be 1 with a oak leaf for #2 also it shows the navy seal badge so I do not know if they are a navy person or a marine corp person. other quick look the ribbons are not center above the center of military crease plus for being in a top tier group his uniform looks pretty bad

Definitely not 1/8 inch, that's for sure. As an Avionics Instructor in the Marines I had a young sailor as a student, just out of boot camp, who had a ribbon rack you wouldn't believe (literally). When asked how he got them, he responded, "At the PX." He thought you could just buy them, and he picked out the ones he liked.

Is this some "stolen valor" example of a Navy fraud? I've not been in since 1998, but I know when you have two NDSMs, something is wrong. You start a process of what's wrong. . .and the process might be lengthy.
