Can your commander stop you from using the chapter 8 pregnancy to separate?

I suggest you read AR 635-200, Chapter 8. You may also read 1-19 in the same regulation.

Command has to approve all chapters, they can deny it if the want and are willing to fight fore their decision.

SGT (Join to see) , not that I have seen unless the Soldier is not going to the doctor. JAG, IG, the BN or BDE CSM can provide guidance in a specific situation.
