As American service members, we have fought for many reasons, including the freedom to practice our faith. Please join me in helping to remember the celebration of Easter during some of the hardest times in our American history. Chaplain's, please share your experiences of celebrating Easter during your service. Thank you all for your service.

We wouldn't have weekends if God hadn't said rest (Saturday), and Christ is why we also get Sunday.

Elohim did rest on the 7th day; unfortunately the 7th day is not Saturday per the original calendar that Elohim created; but currently changes monthly due to the current calendar we use (Gregorian) that was named for Pope Gregory XIII, who introduced it in 1582. The original calendar in the book of Genesis, each month began on the new moon and the day of rest was 7 days later and every 7 days thereafter; currently the new moon is in the middle of each month due to the change made by the Catholic church; who also changed the day to Sunday.

SFC Mark Merino - What Else Would Jesus Do? John the Baptist preaches accepting your pay, not bearing false witness, . . . much like the Commandments. How about the Acts of Mercy - Feeding the Hungry, Clothing the Naked, Sheltering the homeless, Visiting the imprisoned, . . .

How Crazy is that? Check-out Mark Twain's "War Prayer". Then check-out Pax Christi.
