When you get chaptered for a APFT failure from AIT. Do you get reimbursed for the ASU's and all the military things you have?

If you were to fail a PT Test and they say you are getting chaptered out... Is it true that I can come back 6 months later and join again if I want to and just take a APFT test and past then I go straight to my until because I finished school and I'm MOS qualified? Is that true? Please help me
