Despite meeting a good amount of vets in Chicago, I've never seen a military bar. Are there any around? Even around the great lakes area there doesn't seem to be many.

No, Chicago is one horse heck town. They may close the bars are 8:00 pm during the week and all bars are closed on Sundays. Military Bars [???] Find a bar you enjoy and enjoy it, they are interested in one thing and it is "GREEN, with a picture of Lincoln on hit."

Go to a place called "The Snuggery" not a military bar, but a good bar none the less.
