Ok this may seem stupid and lackluster but I'm bringing it here I just got to stewart from fort drum well I understand regulations that the cg out out during a ocie layout everything on the clothing record can be requested to be shown. No issues but when you have everything on the list. Why is it we can't get things removed like the uniforms and the underwear and other things that they wouldn't take back anyway since it touched your skin. And I talked with cif about issues regarding gear I was issues cold and wet weather bottoms of a medium but record showed large the nsns being different my team chief kept arguing the pants which I showed both were correct just a different size I was told I would be charged if I didn't correct it so I had to go to cif and get it cchanged. Its been like that since I got it cif told me they honestly don't care about size or nsn as long as when I go to turn stuff in I have it I explained to the team cheif (another spc out of respect I won't post opinions about that) that cif said that and she said whatever if it's not changed your getting charged I showed the change and was done. But my question for everyone if you have gear but on record it's wrong size but you can show physically that it's right there should you be forced to go and change clothing record just to appease that the nsn matches to the size you have when all the gear costs the same for them to get made and is there a way to get consumable items (uniforms boots socks) removed from record since they in no way last like body armour helmet and the like.

They leave the no takezes-backzees on there to prove you got them so they don’t re-issue them

Always the great war with CIF. Ever going. Never ending. And usually a fruitless outcome for those not allied with CIF.

SFC (Join to see) so true though the cif people are helpful at stewart more than at drum I'm going to retry getting items pulled off the clothing record like uniforms

If CIF wanted to be assholes, which they tend to be, they could enforce what your record says and not take equipment that is the wrong size per your clothing record.
Your TL is trying to protect you from future problems that could cause a headache when you least want it, like trying to clear post.
Next time you go through CIF thoroughly valid what you are signing for is what you were issued and this won't be a problem later.
