Combat Vets. are a great group of servicemen. I am associated with the VFW riders. We spend our time helping others in our community in need. Also help fellow veterans by providing money to This Able Veteran. They provide service dogs to disabled vets. Helped with Toys for Tots this year also. Very proud of what we have accomplished.

We have a few in my chapter of Patriot Guard Riders. Good troops, one and all. One of the reasons I enjoy PGR so much is that we tend to be a bridge between the various groups. The cross comms without group politics interfering has often helped to facilitate things we need to accomplish.

Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association... any fellow RP'ers a member? If so, what does your Chapter do that you are most proud of?

Yep SSgt Bill Trevor, 46-1 here. Pretty good group. A few are still active duty, some separated, and some like me are retired. We have a few projects. The last year was mostly helping renovate and get a homeless Vets home ready for them to move in.

I checked in the membership once, they wanted way more information than I 1- thought was/should necessary to join a motorcycle association and 2 it was more information then I was comfortable giving out to a group of people I don't know. I read their bylaws and other information that they provided on their website and it sounded like a good group. Again just not comfortable with some of the information and documents that they wanted.

It's been quite a while ago so don't remember all of it but one was a copy of my bike title for proof of ownership.

32-2 Tucson here, where I'm called Yo-Yo. Our local charities are Esperanza En Escalante (transitional housing for homeless/at risk of being homeless veterans and their families), Tucson Fisher House, Tucson Vets Serving Vets, and the One Vet Foundation (providing PTSD service dogs at no cost to the veteran).

I've been actively riding for 30 years and have never seen them at any rallies or bike events.
