Could RallyPoint be better for veteran mentors/mentoring than LinkedIn?

I'd argue that it is. However, 1stSgt (Join to see) had a great point. Most of the veterans I meet walking around have no idea Rallypoint exists. For that reason, I'm trying to get some key personnel at my local VA and Vet resources on campus spun up on it to create some exposure.

Branding is one thing that may be lacking here. Not sure those that manage this site are branding this effectively. I don't ever recall seeing RP branded at any Hiring Event or Veteran resource fair. there are so many ways to get the name out into the public. Teaming up with other organizations, sponsoring an event say a 5K or something. LI has plenty of veteran groups to cover all the bases, some of them competing against each other for the same veterans. Personally I prefer to come here and post something about jobs, resources, and such because that's my intended audience. LI has its benefits, but it's not tailored to what we have here.

I think so, but it has not gotten the exposure that LinkedIn has. I don't even remember who invited me, but I did not become active for 9 months after setting up my account. I assumed it was another Facebook for military, but it is definitely not that at all. THe question is how to make that exposure, SSG Ricardo Marcial ?
