It really sucks and anyone who is cruel to any animal is a coward and they deserve everything that they got coming to them. Bastards!

CPO Andy Carrillo, MS People that prey on the weak and helpless, human or animal, are the lowest kind of cowards. I hope that ends his career.

SN Greg Wright Yes, the only reason they were caught (this time) was because they were stupid enough to post their crime for all the world to see. How many other random acts of cruelty went unrecorded (not their first rodeo)?

WTH, over? First, the camel was unarmed and posing no direct threat. But seriously, this sort of behavior is an insight to both an undisciplined soldier and possible mental instability.

Capt Mark Strobl I'm dating myself, but I am beyond understanding the mentality required to commit AND archive for eternity such despicable actions. These idiots were surprised that their conduct went viral? I just don't get it.

Cruelty to animals is often a sign of a serious personality disorder. How would you deal with a Soldier who hurts an animal?

Jail time is appropriate in my opinion. What kind of psycho shoots an innocent animal? If you're not hunting for food, there's something wrong with that person.

How can anyone be cruel to any animal? Look at this picture, it says it all. And tell me how loyal our pets are to us? This is a true sign of love, loyalty and devotion!

I would have to take them somewhere private and do to them whatever they did to the defenseless animal. They may be psycho but they will never be caught and punished by any authority. I don't like violence but this would be justified. I'll wait patiently for the liberals to respond.... :-)

SGT Rick Ash agreed, but I doubt any perpetrator would feel any sort of remorse, except for having been caught. Conscience--somes have it, somes don't...
