I had arthroscopic surgery on my shoulder recently too (September) - so I feel your "pain". I'm doing what I can to keep active outside of agitating the recovery for the shoulder. I'm still getting used to how my bicep looks now (part of the surgery process, relocation of the bicep tendon), as it looks much larger than before. I need to do more curls with the left arm to catch up. Sigh - the search for the perfect body never ends.

On a serious note - I hope you recover quickly and fully, as I know what a pain it is and how long of a road it is to be back to 100%.

SFC Mark Merino Lol. One of my BC's was telling me this am that it's payback for pulling and D-n-A on the 25mm too much. During BGST I'd always get out there and have "gentleman" wagers on fastest times for D-n-A to standards. No one can come close to my best. Not quite 6:30 min (out and back in combined)

It's a great time to review your service record, get some deeper mentoring, look at your path forward, and make a do-list. Then share it all with your spouse and make sure he/she's on board. Funny thing is I'd get smashed up at about the right frequency to make the timing to do that about right.

I had a nasty event happen that crushed my left thumb. I caught up on a lot of professional reading. If you can type with one hand/arm you can read with just one. In the middle of the night when the pain creeps in nothing else worked to distract me. Good luck with the recovery. Just don't tell the physical therapist you are not worried about pain levels during your rehab; that is a mistake you only make once!

This is my 2nd surgery on same shoulder :(. Sucks breaking down. 20+ yrs Infantry catching up...lol. I am trying to work/refine my resume some more.

I did get caught up on all the CFB I missed from last weekend so that's a plus.

Still have another 10-14 days +/- til I start PT

Currently "NMC" due to shoulder surgery. What have you done to pass the time recovering?

Personally I'd read a book that's what I did after two shoulder surgeries last year. I was able to get caught up on my reading

Been trying the reading thing. Bad thing is they did a nerve block so I can't move my arm right now...lol. Plus my arm is strapped to my side.

Maybe I could get the wife to turn pages for me...lol. I think that would lead into choice 4 of my survey..lol

Dislocated both shoulders while on active duty. Luckily not at the same time. Did weight rehabilitation to build them back up. They still pop out on occasion. I just pop it back in and keep going.
