Currently on assignment to DS School the station of my trail time will be FLW, MO any ideas on how I can get it changed to Ft. Benning ? ?

Just curious, are you an Infantryman SFC (Join to see), miss Victory Drive? In all seriousness, Fort Benning is a great place to be! You can call DS branch ahead of time or use the on point advice of SSG (Join to see) & SFC (Join to see)!

Good point, we do have 11B Drill Sergeants here at "The Wood" 3rd Chem has the most slots for 11B as they are BCT. We have a couple in MP land as well during my trail time.

Typically try to have one 11B Drill Sergeant per BCT Platoon, that is not always the case but that is the goal SFC (Join to see).

I just left the trail after doing my time at FLW. If you want to change you're assignment you need to find someone in your class going to Ft Benning that want's to switch with you. Good luck with that!! During your time at DS school HRC should come there and give a brief and one thing they cover is switching assignments. It doesn't have to be someone with the same MOS as I'm a 12H and trained 12B and 12C.

During school, you will get a briefing from drill sergeant branch,hrc. They will give you the opportunity to switch with someone in class. It is not a guarantee... But you will have the opportunity to ask. i hope this helps. Also you can go ahead and call drill sergeant branch and ask.

Good call branch, but while I was there they DS branch actually came and asked who wanted to switch and we have several swaps done while in school but no turtles! Turtle had to return to station.
