Do I have to reenlist or sign a Declination statement if I have a reservation for Drill Sergeant, but am due to ETS in 15 months?

Received ATRRS reservation for Drill Sergeant but I’m dude to ETS in 15 months. Do I really have to reenlist or sign a Dec statement?

No. Absolutely not. Your commander can check the block on your declination statement that says SM refuses to sign
But, in the end you're either reenlisting or getting out
