I currently have a DD368 in the CoC. Yesterday my UA told me that battalion and brigade had already signed and it was waiting at state. Has anyone else gone through this process to swap from national guard to active army, if so how long did it take once your paperwork was waiting for the last signature?

Mine was submitted Aug 11, 2015 and signed approved on Sep 12, 2015, but every case is different

Are you currently active duty right now? What was your process following the signed paperwork?

I found out that my recruiter was so happy to get a linguist, she neglected to do the math. I'm now 51, with over 9 years active federal service, 13.6 toward m-day retirement, and over 14 for pay. Insane dropping of maximum age to 35 hurt me most.
Plan was take 368 to recruiter, take any tests needed, and enlist. Then send contract to my unit personnel back in Missouri.
If Russia wants to continue aggression, maybe the military will need Russian linguists and rules for age will go back up to 42.

I have a soldier who began his transfer process in March of this year and is just now waiting for the 1-star to sign off at state level. Beyond that is the great unknown...

Its hard to say. I take it you have already been accepted? Did you get an assessment done on your skills so you could keep your rank? I have seen guys do everything and still not get accepted by AC.

No sir I have not had a skills assessment. All I have done is the paperwork to be released from the national guard and it hasn't even been approved yet

I would go to my local recruiter and talk thru this. You may not get picked up right away or they will tell you that you have to wait 6 months and will lose rank. Some one should have counseled you on all this as you were going thru the paper work to be released. I hate to say it but its not as easy as just getting released and then going active.

I have recently submitted my dd368 form to go active duty it has been with battalion going on 2 months awaiting a signature. My platoon sgt who is AGR gives me the same response that battalion is tracking my paper. I had to submit multiple 368 forms just to extended the one currently at batalion

I sent one in january 2016 and its just sent up to battalion, my cammond said it'll be a week or so until its done. I guess it depends on your unit and if they're high speed or not

I start my dd368 process next week. The good thing is that the prior service rules don't apply to me because I'm a split ops and haven't done mos training yet

how long did it take? My 368 is still out there to be signed and has been for 3.5 months. I am a SSG, and have been in for 7 years so I'm starting to get Agrivated it's taking so long.

I've been debating putting in for a conditional release to give active duty a shot. Right now I'm trying to pick up ADOS orders on Tour of Duty. No luck thus far!

As a "guy who worked at state", I'd encourage you to check back with the unit every once and a while. They, in part, will continue to check on the issue with higher.
You're not going to individually light the fire under someone's third point of contact and get an immediate response. That said, tactful follow-through will help ensure that people continue to track it and that it gets resolved.
