Dear John/Joanne Letters, have you had one?

I was station in Germany when I got my dear john letter from my high school sweetheart. I know my family and girlfriend had up to that point been a lifeline to the states. It was a deep blow and it took quite awhile to accept and adjust to this loss. But as you see I survived it. I know it's never easy, and I know I wished I could do something to undo it, but that was not to be, I still regret the loss, but I am living my life in the here and now with my wife.
