How many hunters do we have out there. Deer season is upon us in two weeks. I use a Remmington 270

I love deer hunting and use a Remington 742 in .30-06. Dad uses an M1 Garand that he got about 35 years ago from the CMP.

Yes. Surprisingly, it does not kick too hard. That rifle is very heavy and absorbs a lot of the recoil.

Bow season opened this past weekend in TN. Time to fill the freezer again..lol

Awesome that the misses goes out with you. Much respect. Was looking at a Savage 243 but chose the Reminton 270. Father in Law has a 30.06 for me but wasn't sire if I wanted to use that just yet. We'all see during the season. Don't mind using his weapons but in my opinion, a Man just needs his own

It does help around here as well. You pretty much have to belong to a hunting club to find a decent spot, unless like you said, k km ow some one with lots of land
