served in the 628th MASS from 1988 to 1989 and helped the Russians following the Armenian earthquake. In retrospect this was a clue the cold war was coming to a close.

I spent 12 months in turkey i think 3 was with incirlik AB I enjoyed it.

I am currently stationed there with 2 months left. It has definitely been an experience, not necessarily one I enjoyed, but one I wouldn't give up.

Incirlik AB was my 2nd duty assignment. Got there in May of 1989 to May of 1991.

i went to Incirlik AB way back in 1984 for a 30 day detail , the base failed 2 nato Tac evals and was in jeopardy of losing its mission, a month of 1-18 hrs shift of alarm red and black... wasnt fun .
