Republican debate runs off the rails and turns into all-out war as Trump bashes John Kasich, Jeb hits his protege Marco Rubio, and EVERYONE hammers CNBC's moderators for losing control
CNBC hosts progressively lost control of the event
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz turned openly hostile, accusing them all of being Democrats intent on damaging the GOP field
Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie soon piled on the network
Donald Trump wrapped up his night by claiming he had strong-armed them into shortening the debate 'so we can get the hell out of here'
'CNBC should be ashamed of how this debate was handled,' Republican Party chairman Reince Priebus said.
Claims of media bias became a major theme of the night, with Cruz letting loose the night's first scathing barrage against moderators Carl Quintanilla, Becky Quick and John Harwood.

The only thing missing on the panel of Moderators was Debbie Wasserman-Shultz as lead moderator.
There was next to nothing asked that was related to basis for the so-called debate. Sure wish the primaries were started. That would separate the wheat from the chaff and then serious candidates will be identified. Its the normal process, but IMV a bit dumb.

The RNC is to blame. Firstly, they know the "praetorian guard," liberal media will turn the debate into a circus. Secondly, all debates should be on national television, not cable television. Let everyone watch to form their own opinions about the candidates, D or R.
They should know that the liberal playbook is Rules for Radicals and left leaning media outlets will use those rules to their advantage on their turf.

I'm with you. If they don't understand that and set the rules for debate and the venue, they are culpable.

Yes, I think they did. They tried to turn it into a mudslinging contest between the candidates. Thankfully they didn't fall into the trap. Which is why most of the top contenders did not say much last night. It would not have helped them at all.

DNC Debates don't matter, the nominee is selected by superdelgates not by a voice of the people.

MAJ (Join to see) - Sorry about that. The Democrat debate was all about Hillary. I had hopes for Jim Webb but I never head from him until that day.

I viewed the Democrat debates like a football team. Protect the quarterback and the offensive line (fellow Master Debaters on stage and the MSM) did an admirable job protecting her before, during and after. An admitted liar and she won the debate? What does that say about her compatriots on stage.
