Apparently the Chinese have been sending spies to the United States to encourage their expatriates to return home. China has been doing this without communicating information about their agent's, this is against U.S. law.

China may view the successful departure of entire families as a threat to their Nation as more citizens may choose to follow suit depriving China of wealth and and potentially exposing China's secrets.

While this article doesn't state any of the spies sent to try to bring expatriates back to China have been caught or prosecuted under the law, I wonder if the U.S. did do so, how would China react to this?

LCDR Rabbi Jaron Matlow Exactly!!! We have and have had spies in government and POTUS and others have plausible deniability. It is a very clever game that everyone is playing and everyone denies... lol SrA Edward Vong

Damn, they caught me. (I'm part Chinese)

China would not react well to this had this been US spies in China. But just imagine if it was North Korea. Ouch.

SrA Edward Vong -- OK. Now, I see that "v" by your profile. Now that you're out, you can reduce your surveillance term to six months. No funny stuff, mister!

SrA Edward Vong CPT Michael Martinez Capt Mark Strobl Capt Christopher Mueller Kind of like the X-Files where spying was accepted as a part of life and with good reason.
