No I did not know the Texas Rangers recognized 40 wounded warriors in a pre-game ceremony Sgt Kelli Mays. However I am not surprised.

Yes I did read about it in local news.
But Im cynical about such things after learning the NFL teams did so as a requirement, or media promotional consideration deal..
Some may say, no matter the back story that it happened is good enough.. And Id generally agree.
As long as it ends there.... but if the franchise is claiming to be a supporter, a stand up team because "Look what we did" and what was done was paid advertising, or a requirement....then Im not impressed.
Any more then paying a athlete money to wear pink gloves, Nike shoes or any pother paid for endorsement.
