As we all know we all took an oath to support and defend the constitution of the United States against all enemies both foreign and domestic. If you were given an order to disarm civilians, would you do it? Assume that these civilians are peaceful and law abiding citizens. I would not disarm them. I understand another part of my oath is to follow all lawful orders of the officers appointed over me, but my main concern is the constitutional rights of the citizens of this fine country that I swore to protect.

I am an American Soldier. I will support and defend the constitution of the United States of America against all enemies, both foreign and domestic. I take this part of my oath with the m o st seriousness. What I mean by that is I feel it is the most important. Will you stand by your oath? i.e if martial law is declared, and I am ordered to disarm American citizens then I will not obey that order because in my eyes it is treason. What are your thoughts?

nope, and for any one to give that order, its a unlawful one. I would turn in my uniform before i would obey such

Nope, especially knowing that the moment I hang up my uniform I become subject to the same disarmament. Lots of folks I know feel the same way.
