Discharges from the past ... your thoughts?

I see many topics relating to retiring from the Military and the prospects Veterans have, but what about those of us who have done a hitch or two and got out? It seems opportunities only really exist for those newly discharged or for career Military after putting in their 20 or more, what about those of us who got out 20 plus yrs. ago, still stay connected and up to date, or are we not good for anything?
