For the last year or so, I've been getting told that I can or cannot qualify. I assumed that it was in my contract, but by the time I started OCS, I found out it wasn't. When I joined my unit, there were a few officers that were on student loan repayment plans with the Army. Is it too late for me to apply? If not, how does one go about reaching the proper channels?

You can apply and get benefits. Make sure they certify that you are eligible first. Also if you are eligible for disability there are some benefits made available to you. If you are a Major or above you will not be eligible for educational benefits. Also there is a cap on the amount of funding. Contact the state or federal veterans office to get the info. Use the information that they provide to push for your benefits
