Do Army Split-Ops Soldiers get their enlistment bonus earlier than SM’s who don’t do Split-Ops?

My little sister’s Company Commander told her that before she even shipped to BCT that she would get her bonus after BCT simply “because she is a split-op”. Can any Army recruiters out there verify if the bonus receiving process is different for Split Ops?

Last I knew, a Soldier has to be MOS-Q to get the bonus

Probably not that early. Most get their bonus after AIT. If she doesn’t graduate BCT or AIT she will need to pay back all of that bonus.

It’s been a while since I was a recruiter but the first installment wasn’t paid until the Soldier graduated AIT.
