Do I have to go thought ALC again if I was told to reclass rom 25S to 25B?

I am a 25S E7 told I need to reclass to 25B, I was just informed that I will also have to re-do ALC. I am putting in a waiver packet for both 25B and 25B ALC, has anyone else done this and been successful?
