AR 600-8-10, Sextion XV, Paragraph 5-29:
f. A 4-day pass—
(1) Must include at least 2 consecutive non-duty days. For example, a Soldier may depart on a 4–day pass on Friday evening after duty day and must return at the start of normal duty day on Wednesday.
(2) May not be combined with a regular pass, another special pass, or leave. If leave or another pass is granted, there must be at least one duty day between the special pass and the leave or other pass

Thanks for the response SSG. Milper message 18-317 states that there does not have to be a duty day in between.

CPL (Join to see) - Work? No. However, you must be present at the start and end of the leave and/or the pass. You can take them back-to-back, but you can't take off from your local area at the beginning of one and return at the end of the other (granted, you didn't specifically mention travel).

They made a change to Soldiers being able to take leave in conjunction with a 4day pass. You no longer have to have a duty day in between, however, if you do leave in conjunction with a pass, you must remain in the area of the duty location the entire time. If you are going out of the area/out of town, you cannot take leave in conjunction with a pass. The change came out in November. I don’t have the message number because I’m on convalescent leave....

You’re very welcome. I am more than happy to assist anytime I can, it’s all about taking care of Soldiers for me regardless of rank. I appreciate your gratitude.PFC Jeffrey Herrington
