Hi.
I have a question regarding the security clearance.
Recently, I found out that MAVNI soldiers have got loosened some of the restrictions so that MAVNI's can apply for schools and security clearance by my career counselor.
That being said, I'm trying to apply for AMEDD programs such as MSW and MPS.
Do I need a secret clearance to apply for the schools?
If so, where can I find the info? I have tried to explore MILPER messages, but nothing was there about it.

Thank you for your time reading this!

You will need to provide more information, specifically what school, for this question to properly be answered. Some schools will require SEC or TS clearance, some will not.

If you're wanting to commission I believe you will need a SECRET clearance.

It's not necessarily the schools themselves that require the clearance, rather it's the commissioning that requires the clearance. I believe AR 380-67 is the appropriate reference.
