So RCP changed in Nov from E5(P) 15 years back to 14. My ETS is sometime 2022 but my 14 year mark will be Aug 2021. So will I separate on my ETS(grandfathered) or be forced out by RCP?
Career counselor was busy when I asked and didn't seem to confident that I'll be in till ETS. Unless I'm not comprehending something in the Reg and RCP MOI, I don't see anything about ETS being beyond RCP.

There is an exception for SGT's in balanced or understrength MOS' to 15 years. according to MILPER message 18-376, it doesn't mention much about RCP trumping ETS date (generally you wouldn't be allowed to enlist for a time of which you couldn't stay in unless you were promoted) unless you were reduced in rank. Career Counselors i've talked to in the past had informed me that if one were up against RCP, they could extend to allow for proper time to ETS.
