Do permanent profiles affect Title 10/MOB Orders if MEDPROS says I’m deployable?

I am currently on a permanent profile and my MEDPROS is saying I am deployable. I am currently expected to start my title 10 orders on 1 OCT 21. I am currently working with my PCP to have my profile re-evaluated and brought current which entails having a few of my limitations limited. With that being said, My unit is requesting confirmation that if my profile reevaluation is not complete by the time I start orders, will it affect my mobilization or are there any other steps that we can take before to ensure I am good to start those orders.

This was my wheelhouse….Perm profile as long as class 2 or 1 does not affect deployability. Once you check no to being able to carry xyz, move xyz distance, and it affects basic war fighting functions then you’re in another category and cannot do your job. Only then are you nondeployable. So currently you can deploy. If your limitations affect your “job” as a soldier then MEB may be in your future.
Good luck
Good luck

Having deployed twice with a permanent profile, it shouldn't be an issue at all as long as the system says one is deployable and SRP clears them to deploy. Even with the limitations, as long as MEDPROS and SRP says GO...then logic dictates that everything is 5 by 5.

100% agree MSG (Join to see). I think SSG (Join to see) is being given some unofficial advice that has been going around since we got introduced to the ACFT. As someone who sat on every monthly TCON from TSG on this and related topics there is no career ended based on p1-2 profiles affecting the ACFT. That has been part of the delay and constant changing of official implementation for record.

SSG (Join to see) - So as I alluded to in my original reply, there are certain "must be able to do" activities to be a soldier. So I am pasting the following from my previous Command Surgeon workbook for the APFT so you can see the difference with the ACFT
"Permanent 2 profile can provide you with restrictions on APFT events. You must be able to at least do one cardio event (run, walk, bike, or swim), and can be exempted from pushups and sits ups if medically necessary.
***If you are restricted from any of the Functional Activities/Abilities (ie: wearing your helmet, evade direct and indirect fire, moving 40 lbs 100 yards, etc....) then that would be a Permanent 3 profile and a referral to a medical board. (It is acceptable to have restrictions for some or all Functional Activities/ Abilities and APFT events on a Temporary profile.) If at that time if you requesting a Permanent 3 profile, We will need ALL your supporting medical documents of treatment for the past 6-12 months.
We will also require either a summary of care form signed by the specialist or a letter on letterhead in detail and signed by the specialist only."
So as far as those functional activities/abilities (sorry I called them warfighting functions which are a whole different ball game) you must be able to do those to be deployable. Compared to the ACFT restrictions it is basically the same, namely, you still must be able to do your soldier duties, but there are certain modifications and/or elimination of events that will be done on your official ACFT (whenever that goes into effect). So as you said you cannot do the sprint drag carry, if your profile limits that then your command needs to accommodate you, but if you say you cannot carry your equipment of 40lbs up to 100 yards, you will get a P3 and potential MEB. See where the thin line is? As far as the leg tuck, you are joining several thousand women AND MEN (not just a woman issue) who are being shown that they cannot do this. So this is being evaluated but as I am sure you are tracking, the plank is an alternative. Lastly, I personally haven't run in a decade, but I will bike, walk, or swim a marathon. You just have to be able to do some kind of aerobic event. So.... you're sounding ok to me without knowing any more than what you've said. Your P2 status is deployable. Your ACFT is a separate (but related... one day) issue. Right now everyone is speculating and no one other than TSG folk and the folk implementing the final ACFT will know what exactly will be the final product and how it will be scored. Feel free to DM me any specific medical questions.

COL (Join to see) MSG (Join to see) Thank both for all of your advice - I will be presenting this information to the SSG who told me this past drill weekend that if I didn’t have my profiles lifted that I wouldn’t be able to re enlist and it’s a career ender for me - I have been in the army for 12 1/2 years - outside of being a mother, the army is all I know - it’s what I was born to do so when this individual brought this to me (not that feelings matter much, if the army wanted me to have feelings they would have issued them to me) it struck me in the gut and now I’m in survival mode fighting to ensure that what he said isn’t true and if it is then what do I have to do? I don’t want to necessarily preemptively have these profiles lifted and then screw my self royally there.
So thank you both so much for your time. It’s greatly appreciated :)
