Do soldiers stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord have a chance to go to Europe or are they guaranteed to go to Korea?

I'm in AIT and finally got my orders. I'll be sent to Joint Base Lewis-McChord. However, I've heard that people stationed there always go to Korea. I'd love to go to Europe and see the sites of my ancestors.

No, there are no rotations to Europe from JBLM. JBLM is aligned with the Pacific area. You may go to a rotation in Korea, but it's not guaranteed.
Years ago 2ID did rotations to Korea, now other units at other posts rotate to Korea for 9 month rotations.

My unit is current in transition for a 9 month rotation. Like WO1 (Join to see) has stated pacific pathways, deployment or.
A Korea rotation is about all your getting

SPC Jesse Bisping A married friend was sent to Europe, I ?could have taken his slot? No matter, the next month’s levy sent me to Korea.
It wasn’t bad, but not as good as he later described living in Europe to me.
