Do US service members who are awarded foreign medals equivalent to US MOH get the same benefits as a US MOH recipient?

Reason I ask I recently watched a segment from ISAF new channel from back in 2010 where 14 US soldiers were awarded Germany’s Medal of Honor for actions in combat.

38 CFR § 3.802 - Medal of Honor.
(a) The Secretary of the Department of the Army, the Department of the Navy, the Department of the Air Force, or the Department of Transportation will determine the eligibility of applicants to be entered on the Medal of Honor Roll and will deliver to the Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs a certified copy of each certificate issued in which the right of the person named in the certificate to the special pension is set forth. Absolutely NOT. Federal law specifies the exact benefits authorized MOH recipients. Have never seen nor heard of any foreign gov't doing the same for national in other countries.

The answer is no! However, I would like to know when this occurred. The gold cross (I believe) was awarded to 14 uS Sokdiers in 2010. If you have an article or other I would be interested to see it. Thank you for your service.
