Do you believe civilians understand the difference between Appreciation and Support?

No. I think some want to be supportive, but confuse the two...

For most civilians, showing appreciation is defined by whether their "Support our Troops" sticker is affixed to the back window or the bumper. Pretty much stops there.

Always a bit conflicted when I see someone at a stoplight displaying a 'veteran' sign. Can't help but think that many if not all are ex-cons recently released from Huntsville and now working my neighborhood for handouts and other opportunities. Best we can do is give them a 'manna bag' of basic stuff from our church.
