Do you consider the term jarhead and other names for the different branches of service offensive?

I have quit a few “Jarhead” friends, heck I’ve even got a few “Ground Pounders” as friends.

I give everyone that’s not a marine a hard time as soon as I meet them but I also thank them for at least for serving not everybody can be marines.

I am retired Army and unfortunately I had a Marine Father in Law and Have a marine adopted son and future son in law. I also have many friends who are Marines. You know having that many Marines around is why I’m a 1SG. someone’s got to raise them. Rivalry is a good thing. Doesn’t matter the branch.
