You bet I do. It's a right we protect and a right we should actively participate in. We may be restricted in what we can say/do while in uniform, but our right to vote is fundamental. I have been a voting assistance officer (VAO) and understanding the process is something every leader should know.

I always encourage my subordinates to vote. I am a firm believe that if you don't vote then you gave up your right to bitch about the leaders running our country.

Always, I emphasize to them that you have no right to complain about the path of the country or the leaders if you don't exercise your responsibility to vote to make a change or continue down the same path.

Absolutely, it is not only a right, but a responsibility.
One just has to be careful so as to not project one's own personal bias or preference.
